So me and my son played that Wii-U at Bestbuy today...

Although I have no plans on purchasing one for myself...shyt is pretty slick..the controller and screen is huge yet still feels just as comfortable as a regular controller. My son was playing the ray man game..shyt was dope using the touchscreen to do certain things throughout the level. I wouldn't bring myself to cop something only a little better than current gen systems graphically but my son pretty much begged for that shyt...I can see kids eating that shyt up...I'm straight though.

Won't front though...streaming to the controller is seamless as fukk that's dope how they pulled it off its really polished.

shyt made me want some next gen consoles to drop NOW.

Played it at Gamestop today. The rayman demo wasn't too exciting I only played for a few minutes. The demo was a bit far too complicated for a child I feel.

This is Nintendo's last chance on the console side and they know it. They are releasing before everyone for a reason to try to finally figure out a way to get over the lack of 3rd party support on their console.

heads need to remember history...this is Nintendo's first time being first leading into a new console generation (you could argue the OG NES, but it wasn't really first)

I think it won't be as successful as the Wii but it will be initially successful mainly from the younger crowd. My son is 6 going on 7 and that was his first time seeing or hearing about it and he wanted it bad based off the controller alone. He's been saying he only wants a tablet for Christmas for the past couple months and all it took was the wii-u to change his mind smh.

Me personally....I've ignored copping Nintendo consoles since the n64 because of lack of software support...they NEVER have a consistent stream of quality mature titles..there's always a long wait. I may get one for my son for Christmas to make him happy but I'm pretty sure it will become expendable within the next 2 or so years after having it.

Yea playing the WiiU today didn't really wow me. They should've put a demo of NSMB U or ZombiU or something.

This will be the snes of our generation. The real wild card is square Enix who at the end of the day decides who wins the console wars. Ff7 was original gonna be on n64 but they switched to Sony bc cartridges were becoming outdated.

The power of wii u is being severely under estimated. Developers are easily porting over AAA titles to wii u with no problem. It they can keep 3rd pty support in 2013 multi platform games WILL look and play better on wii u.

Final fantasy is the deal breaker here. If Sony takes too long and we don't see ps4 till 2014 there is a good chance SE will go back to Nintendo and make FF15 wii u exclusive, if that happens game over
