I'm not copping one until next year, but ZombiU look dope as shyt. That, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Wonderful 101, Mario U, and Pikmin is getting copped as soon as I pick one up.

Played it at Gamestop today. The rayman demo wasn't too exciting I only played for a few minutes. The demo was a bit far too complicated for a child I feel.

This is Nintendo's last chance on the console side and they know it. They are releasing before everyone for a reason to try to finally figure out a way to get over the lack of 3rd party support on their console.

I think it won't be as successful as the Wii but it will be initially successful mainly from the younger crowd. My son is 6 going on 7 and that was his first time seeing or hearing about it and he wanted it bad based off the controller alone. He's been saying he only wants a tablet for Christmas for the past couple months and all it took was the wii-u to change his mind smh.

Me personally....I've ignored copping Nintendo consoles since the n64 because of lack of software support...they NEVER have a consistent stream of quality mature titles..there's always a long wait. I may get one for my son for Christmas to make him happy but I'm pretty sure it will become expendable within the next 2 or so years after having it.

This will be the snes of our generation. The real wild card is square Enix who at the end of the day decides who wins the console wars. Ff7 was original gonna be on n64 but they switched to Sony bc cartridges were becoming outdated.

The power of wii u is being severely under estimated. Developers are easily porting over AAA titles to wii u with no problem. It they can keep 3rd pty support in 2013 multi platform games WILL look and play better on wii u.

Final fantasy is the deal breaker here. If Sony takes too long and we don't see ps4 till 2014 there is a good chance SE will go back to Nintendo and make FF15 wii u exclusive, if that happens game over

And whats been happening all this time is Microsoft has been selling as fast as these other companies are shipping.

And when was the last time you know of somebody who actually bought a wii?
But Sony lies, so anybody who is pro sony is just gonna eat it up as fact.

The last 3 generations the inferior hardware has "won" the race in terms of sales.

PSX (N64 had better hardware)
PS2 (XBOX and the Gamecube had better hardware)
Wii (360 and PS3 had better hardware)

Console gaming is in a very strange place right now, who knows how the next gen is going to go. Kinect needs to improve, Sony needs to figure out what to do with move, and Nintendo...I don't know what else to say about Nintendo at this point...they need to work with 3rd party developers because thats what has held them back since the N64.

The Wii moved crazy units, but that 3rd party support was all gen. They don't get that 3rd party going early and sales are going to come to a halt after the first year.

only if you redefine victory from having the most success and selling the most into public opinion of who you feel like put out the best product and even then that's debatable because the next person might not agree with you.

I honestly never gave two fukks about this console wars shyt. I had all 3 systems this gen, but after my 360 RROD'd for the 5th time that shyt ended up in the bushes. I'm honestly the most excited about the Wii U (even though ain't shyt been announced for MS/Sony).

ZombiU, Wonderful 101, Pikmin, and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate all got me wanting a Wii U bad as fukk. Once that next Zelda/Mario drop though it's a wrap b

My whole point is Nintendo main audience is teens and younger children. They are obviously succuessful with that group. Your average game that are in their 20s and above are tired of the lack of support from 3rd Parties for Nintendo systems. Financially Nintendo is making profits. From a gaming stand point, they should do something to capture some of XBOX and PS3 audience to make it a well rounded system.
