And of course, they brought up this "code". Or reasons why, it shouldn't be done and what circumstances it's actually allowable(I.E. a concerned home owner alerting the police to suspicious activity, as opposed to someone engaged in the same crime as you ratting you out for a lower sentence, etc...) Because apparently it's levels to this shyt.

My point was I think it's absolutely stupid to expect people committing criminal activity to have a code(for whatever reason be it family, friendship, the knowledge we committed the act together, etc...)

That makes NO fukking sense.

Zero.

This is where I can KINDA see the point.

In the instance of a robbery, Me and you run up on someone, I have the gun, and despite the fact everything works without a hitch, I end up just killing the victim for the fukk of it, while YOU had ABSOLUTELY no intentions of doing so. And I snitch and plead out to lesser time or basically blame you, that would be fukked up.

My counter argument was that, uhhhh WE ARE fukking robbing someone, we not planting daisies for the rec center, cleaning up the neighborhood or helping old ladies cross the street, so you don't get to have the moral high ground after the fact. Once you commit to a crime, we both become unscrupulous individuals.

And unscrupulous individuals do unscrupulous shyt.

anyways, what's yall opinion on this shyt?

Snitching is when you are involved, get caught and tell on everybody else involved... not when you see a murder, or see a kidnapping and tell.

I mentioned that.

My point was what sense does it make to expect someone to "not snitch" when you are already involved in some fukked up shyt.

That doesn't make sense.

If we killed a motherfukker, do you expect me to be above snitching, I mean after all, I'm a murderer.

Nah, everybody has a code.

You can't have organized crime without organization. Knowledge.

1. If they are your friends, don't snitch on them unless you want to burn your bridges in life OR they did something completely unreasonable.

Assuming they aren't friends but rather associates:

Unless there's enforceable rules, or you guys are in something coming from the moral high ground (for God and country type shyt) these codes are all just made up, and what you should be concerned about is whether or not the codes are enforceable. Getting out in a few months isn't worth getting put six deep, after all. But that basically only excuses snitching against weak scum buckets, if you're in anything serious it's better to just take your lumps.

It doesn't matter what they next nicca does, it matters what you do.

And nicca do give a shyt about a code at some point. A lot. Now, or later.

While we're at it, how many mob bosses "came into power by eliminating a person ahead of them", as you say?

:manny: We saw Trey get out of the car at the end of Boyz N the Hood. The same applies in real life. If your friends are doing something wrong, it's best you suck up your (I don't want to look like a chump) pride and walk the other fukking direction. I did some dumb shyt in my life. Luckily for me, it was all under 13 years old. No violent, no selling just dumb shyt that kids do. I thank god i was raised with my dad...just his presence helped tbh. If he wasn't there, who knows where I would be. (from bham' btw....ensley to homewood to hoover)

fukk a snitch. Everything has to operate by rules. Without rules there's disorder. I hate snitches because snitches breed more snitches. Instead of doing your dirt and eating those years like a man, you'd rather rat on people you know or don't know just to make it another day. When you consider the amount of damage one snitch/informant does to the larger community I can't condone that shyt. Do your time like a man rather than getting 10-15 people locked up or on papers to save your ass. Snitches will drop people in the game, and people not in the game...doesn't matter to them. That creates an unhealthy environment for the larger community. One of the reasons why it's so hard to get black people on board when it comes to tasks that needs a collective to accomplish. Snitches breed mistrust, and that mistrust causes our demise. Just my take.
