Like seeing brehs driving sports cars but still renting apartments. Women buying luxury goods but are living paycheck to paycheck..it's like people don't want to see it cause it's depressing and that's why they consume to feel good about themselves like they "made it".

Men renting with their own money instead of mama's or baby mama's? A step up.

Grown men living off women.

Depression and fatalism.

Tyshawns mother buying the car she had been bragging about balling in before her child was murdered. The other mother who spent money on a nikkas rap demo talking about 'maybe they don't want to go to college' regarding her children.

Fatalism. The future has been beat out of a generation.

Broke little kids beating each other up because of fresh kicks and newest extensions. No sense of sacrifice or earning.

Black Friday is a social event and ain't nobody more social than nikkas. Ain't nobody like to see themselves in TV more either (when you're invisible.. etc etc...)

To beat Black Friday short term, come up with a better social event.

I drove by a bestbuy on my way home from seeing my grandma just to see how crazy it was. People were just walking in the middle of parking lots and shyt. Wanted to run them over.

nope didnt leave the house at all today
i enjoyed my family. didnt shop online either
I have over 360 days a year to hit the mall or walmart. No need for me to do either when it interrupts my family time.
so even though the boycott wasnt my reason, i was still a part of it,

did get a new Black owned lawn service this week. pretty happy about that.

A lot of people are/were missing the point of the boycott. It was supposed to be training/baby steps as far as leveraging our power (money). I work nights at a hospital(7p-7a) and on my way to work Thursday evening I drove by a Walmart and Target. This was around 6PM in the evening and I already saw lines of people in front of the stores . All that hormone injected turkey and GMO vegetables haven't been fully digested yet and black people, hispanics, and poor white people were already lined up. I can just imagine how it will be on Friday. Wasting all that time and money for useless stuff that you don't need and spending it with corporations that don't give a fukk about you .
