So much of Punk's pipebomb was unaltered?

I'm sitting here rewatching the Punk Best in the World doc and it becomes pretty clear the entire last 3rd gets into this weird territory of 'it's real, but it's actually fake'.

The narrative created about what lead to his pipebomb doesn't really make any sense so it calls into question a lot of the legitimacy to how much of a "pipebomb" the promo really was.

So the question is, how much of the promo was unaltered? Did Punk really get free reign to say what he wants? Did some it get edited?

Let's not let the fact that Cena was always around and booked as a bigger deal than Based Punk, even when Based Punk was champ get in the way of things of why Based Punk wasn't the centerpiece. Bet if Cena was around, D-Bry would be made to look like a bit player or a fluke instead of what he is right now; the hottest superstar on the roster.
