well then you should advice your mom not to run her mouth.(not that he is justified in hitting her but...)Nothing physical, just verbal.
Okay, thats understandable. 27 years and this is his first time hitting her ?if this is truly the first time something must have made him flip....
Well done for stepping in, I hope you guys sort it out.

Any chance this has been going on behind your back? 27 years seems like a lot of time for someone just to randomly flip out to that capacity

he was answering a question about his dads previous behavior. i think the OP was sayin they get loud n argue alot in the past, but nothing ever physical happened before tonight.
lets not make assumptions. he said "put hands on her" lets hope he just pushed her...or yoked her up or some shyt. hopefully pops didnt ray rice her.
thats a tough situation to be in, breh. no one likes any person gettin violent with they moms. but at the same time, its only natural to want it to work out between your parents.
He put his hands around her throatWouldn't a person being in custody for 'pushing' someone be ridiculous. I like to hope if he is in custody he actually hit her....
She didn't press any charges and he's staying at my uncle's place for the night. He shouldn't have went to jail for anything other than drunk tank (if he was drinking)
Unless he actually hit your mom and your parents plan on getting a divorce, sending him to jail for domestic charge will cause him to lose his job even if it's temporay. Unless he's not the main source of income, that will fukk all of you
He stopped paying the mortage months ago, and literally only pays the cable bill.
It shouldn't be a big deal unless your mom is pressing charges/was hit and hurt badly, he assaulted cops, terroristic threats in front of the police, etc.
Sounds like the police were just taking him in for precautionary reasons
