Company might make direct payments so he can't pocket anything and it can go in the account books in the correct line item. They would do this in case they got audited. If he got a $139/month lease on a compact car and pocketed $361/month, the company would get in trouble if that was found in an audit, i.e. his company might get fined. It would seen as paying under the table because they are avoiding taxes that way. If they pay direct to the leasing company, then their buns are covered. If they pay out $500 and have receipts, that would be another to cover their buns. If they falsify receipts, then they get in trouble. The IRS aren't clowns.

Ah. If I'm blowing that much a month it's going to be a Porsche or an M3/M5
these guys are a few worlds removed from understanding this.Yeah, I would rather have a used Porsche 911 or M3 instead of a new Corvette Z06.
What kind of car you think you going to get for 500 a month. Thats like 20 - 30 k. Even if your credit is on point.Like the title says. So $500/month plus what I can afford with salary (I'm making good money). What should I splash on brehs?

He would be getting a vehicle on lease. $500 a month could get him more than $30,000 car. BUT that's if he puts down $5,000 to $6,000 on a down-payment.

Thinking off copping a CLS or 6 series. My gripe with these cars though is the depreciation is fukking massive.

More info on this pleaseIt just occurred to me, if he gets a lease on a luxury car under his name, and his company pays for the lease over the course of 3 or 4 years, he could buy the car at the end of the lease.
