So my new job is giving me $500 extra a month for a car. Come in here and tell me what I should cop.

Oh, I was thinking of a loan he would need to buy the car out after the lease.
I see you were talking about credit check for the lease now. But yeah, his credit score wouldn't be a deal breaker, but he might not be able to get the best lease rate or take advantage of a low lease rate sale (the for qualified buyers only sales)

I see what you mean now too. I'm just waking up lol. Umm, yeah, in three years his credit should be improved over where it is today in theory if he wants to buy a car out at end of lease.

I really don't think they're very strict these days. The last car I got felt like a walk in the park. I never even went to the dealership.

It sounds like you would have to pay the monthly insurance on whatever vehicle you get if they're just allotting you $500/month without any actually terms on the use of it? If so, that could eat up a lot of that money.

Insurance/Note/Maintenance on a Porsche Cayman S for a 26 year old single man in NYC for <$500/month?

Go for it.:leon:

*edit* I looked at the maintenance costs and they were low even for Porsche standards. Clutches were <$700, Brakes <$300, Fluid Maintenance <$400. :ehh:

Leaning towards a Porsche Cayman S...:lupe:
Oh, so now you are swaying away from a sedan...
Are you going on construction sites with this ride?
It's not totally an awful idea. There are some Betty's working at construction sites. And the Porsche is a legit panty dropper. :shaq:

Never wanted a sedan. By in large, four doors are boring to me. And nah, I won't be going on sites with whatever car I eventually get.

That Cayman though :noah:

I plan on insuring in Florida. My current whip (an Acura) is insured in Florida. Only $90 a month and that'll go down because I'm done paying it off. I'll switch from full coverage to liability. The only thing that'll cost me big a month with the Cayman is the note. Maintenance, I don't think will bother me much because I'll barely drive it. Only on weekends and to the movies or some shyt which is up the block.

Be sure to mention that to your insurance company. My insurance company covers my Camaro fully but since it's on my policy that "I only drive it <5k miles per year":mjpls: it doesn't cost as much as it would if I....hypothetically....actually drove it at the average 10-12k miles. Defensive driving class was $50 and saved me another $400 off my annual payments, so see if they'll give you a discount for that also.

Trust me breh, I been around the block. I know how to game up these insurance companies. My other job is in the insurance industry. :lolbron:

When I got this new job, they needed a copy of my policy limits and insurance card. I didn't know how to acquire that shyt so I called Geico. nikkas asked me what I needed it for :stopitslime: Told 'em I got a new job. They was like "oh congrats. where? :mjpls:". It's an online job bytch, now stop asking so many damn questions!

What they was really trynna do was probe to see if new job was going to add more miles a year commuting. Little do they know I don't even live in the same state where my car is insured anymore and I drive wayyyyy more than they assume I drive per year. :russ:

Plan to do the same hustle with the new whip I eventually cop. :win:

There's only 6 red interior used Caymans in the country right now :mjcry:

Might have to cop this shyt new or leased :mjcry:

Porsche website talmbout $599/month lease payments with about $5500 down :patrice:. Option to buy at ~$45K at the end of the lease term.

Thinking of getting the down payment through a credit union so low APR and just paying ~$95-$120/month for 36 months (roughly the same term length as the lease). That is trickle money a month I probably won't even miss much. This seems to be the cheapest way to get the red interior. :lupe: Otherwise if I copped a used Cayman with another color interior, buying the red interior separate would run +$10K. :beli:

If anyone has any other ideas, enlighten a nikka :feedme:

BTW, I'm thinking of copping around June 2016 or so. My credit score should be in a lot better shape and I'll only have student loan debt starting next month.

...from another site I post on.
http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/boxster-cayman/340362-2014-cayman-s-lease-deals.html

I googled that deal youre talking about, they were running that same deal back in 2008, sounds like a revolving door deal so it should be around when 2016 rolls around so you shouldn't worry about "missing out". http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/boxster-cayman/119008-cayman-s-lease.html

As a fiscally responsible coli breh, in good conscience I must say:
Hold off on flossing and pay your bills first breh! :damn:
But if you're on that "enjoying your life in the fast lane" tip, go for it and if you got the money, blow it. :yeshrug:

Well, I'm always promoting buying used instead of new.
It's not manual transmission and has tiptronic shifting. And it's a 911 instead of a Cayman. But the interior is red
