I've thought about doing this...but was leery as to how the crabs would be by the time they're shipped to Cali.

It blew my mind when I realized that fresh non-pasteurized hand picked crabmeat isn't available on the west coast. I found a CAN of pasteurized blue crab in a LA high end grocery store...for $60/lb.

pretty sure they will overnight them to you out there. not 100% sure though.

side note - in John Robert's book American Desperado (main guy from Cocaine Cowboys) he talks about how he had an in at the air force base and how he had dudes flying those stone crabs from florida to LA in a fighter jet, and the shyt was still warm by the time the pilot got to LA. thats dope shyt

Crabs are basically garbage disposals of the ocean. They eat dead bodies and turds. You then internalize this? No i think not friends so i stay away from shell monsters. .

I'm not a seafood eater (minus some shrimp every once and a blue)

My wife, father, mother, sister and brother in law all look at me like I'm stupid when they eating a bushel or two of crabs in the summer and I'm at the table ordering myself a pizza or chicken

I'm the only one in the fam who DOESNT eat seafood. But more for yall. I can't take the smell
