StraightLook at this guy. Straightyest but now he wants to beat his chest. Fact of the matter is, PSN runs smooth as hell. There has not been a major outage since launch. Yest was an embarrassment for Microsoft
PSN has gone down multiple times since launch. People have gotten their accounts hacked too

No. The day one update downloads without being signed in. You can install and play games without the Internet.

The Day one offline update only works if you can CONNECT with Xbox Live. You cant CONNECT IF THE SERVER IS DOWN RIGHT??? YOU CANT PLAY OFFLINE OUT THE BOX!!!! STOP LYING!!!
Yesterday's outage only prevented you from signing in, but you were able to get online. I downloaded the TitanFall patch even though I could not sign in.

You could browse the store, install/update games and do anything else that doesn't require a sign in. The reason he could not download demos and apps was because they are tied to a specific account. So even though he could search the store, when he clicked download it would prompt him to sign in. He could not sign in therefore he could not download games.
This has NOTHING to do with downloading the day one patch or playing offline games. In fact without the day one patch he wouldn't even have made it to the point where it would tell him to sign in.

You obviously can't read. I'll spell it out in big letters for you.
IF HE COULD NOT DOWNLOAD THE DAY ONE PATCH, THEN HE WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN PROMTED TO SIGN IN. YOU CAN'T EVEN MAKE IT TO THE DASH BOARD WITHOUT THE PATCH. YESTERDAY'S PROBLEMS PREVENTED PEOPLE FROM SIGNING IN. THAT'S A TOTALY DIFFERENT ISSUE THAN NOT BEING ABLE TO DOWNLOAD A PATCH.
