If Birdman was such a sound businessman, he should have saw this coming and acted accordingly instead of re-issuing Nicki's album for the umpteenth time, especially when said album hasn't even gone platinum yet.

You can only revamp a label so much to the point where you have start cutting losses and have an artist start over, especially in Nicki's case.
