fans don't know what they want. They're gonna keep doing this. Reducing the amount of games in a season is anti fan as fukk, but you don't see me vouching for that. This isn't just an NBA thing; they're just the latest to apply it. I'm not asking for Adam Silver to do anything, so how does that make me pro league? I just know what this will lead to, and it's basically gonna lead to the head coach having no say over what he wants to do. First it's this, then it's "this star must play in the 4th quarter. This player must play a minimum amount of minutes." Where does it end? Like I've said, there are healthy scratches every night. That happens.

Once Kawhi was able to do this and win a championship while doing so, you can't tell any player shyt. For a league where none of y'all fukk with owners or the upper execs in the NBA and are pro-player to the death, now the players do what they want and NOW y'all want the league to do something?

For a league y'all swear is the biggest and best in the world y'all make it seem like it's built out of a house of cards.

The NFL has constantly pushed to add more games and the fans are resisting it. If the NFL added enough games, they would be load managing and the last couple weeks of the season would be mostly a joke, like it is in the NBA. The players making less money and tv networks having less programming would be negatively affected more by a shorter season, because the players teams and league has made so much of the regular season irrelevant. The Grizzlies didn’t give a fukk if they won or lost against Dallas.

Except kids are starting at a younger age, and the level of competition is greater than it ever has been with how deep the talent pool is now. It's a race to see who starts earlier and who does more, otherwise, you'll be left behind in the blink of an eye. It's just going to get worse as time goes on; these young cats' bodies will break down at a faster rate with each passing year.

And of course, the knowledge/progression of medicine and science running parallel to this; prioritizing one's career and health is more important than keeping up some with back-in-the-day, pseudo-machismo state of the game.

That’s why we don’t need an 82 game season. Morant is already playing 25 minutes per night. The purpose of drafting young players in the first place is for them to play and learn and gain experience.

There’s nothing wrong with load management as long as it’s regulated. You should be able to sit at least 12 games a year due to rest.
