So now that the big 3 has been dismantled, is it safe to say Kendrick is No. 1?

There were absolutely no Kendrick anticipation threads or threads about Kendrick period until he used Drake for clout and attention.

Kind of tough to be considered 1 when no one thinks about your music :yeshrug:

In 2024, before Like That dropped on here:

There were 16 Kendrick threads, and 95 percent of them had 0 or 1 posts.

Drake, by comparison, had over 80 threads and thousands of posts.

Kendrick fans aren’t actual fans, they just hate Drake. There’s still no album anticipation thread even after all this:mjlol:

Yes. It’s just Kendrick at the top and that’s that. Doesn’t matter how Aubrey sells. This was the battle to prove who is the king of hip hop. Kendrick proved he’s not only the better rapper but also the far better artist. He beat him in every single category and finished it by beating him at his own game with a club banger. Aubrey got completely annihilated. The best he can be is number 2. But I still have Cole ranked higher cause Cole actually writes his own shyt.

To be fair. nikka didn't know Dot was gonna come that way. He didn't expect him to be long winded. Dot hates this lil nikka. Lol. And Family Matters would've finished alotta nikkas.

I mean it finished 19 others  . Just not the 1 that mattered :mjlol:

He knew he was hated he just didn't prepare smh. Him not claiming push ups for a month hurt since everyone debated whether it was real or not

In a way I think he took XO beef way more serious. It is bc they shooting at each other

The lack of awareness that drake's need for attention despite being a weirdo v. Dots need to live his own life without attention is exactly why drake got obliterated here :mjlol:

What does being #1 even mean at this point. :mjlol:

To claim that mantle, you used to have to drop an album every year. Those days are over.
No one in the mainstream was releasing every year until Jay. And now we see how weak his discog is overall

Pretty much, his next album is going to be fantastic and will propel him to Swifty/BTS level status of superstardom and everyone else will be biting his dust, you might as well sit on the bench if you’re a major artist because 2024 is the year of Kendrick

Couple things... Kendrick dismantling Drake on the surface seems like a no brainer but the way he did it, the strategy and execution was next level.. Also, we know it's likely not just Drake he was going against, so it's one guy vs. Drake and other writers as well. Then you factor in the machine that's behind Drake and yeah it's very very impressive what he was able to do.

Lastly, Kendrick has now shown he can do everything. He's got the critical acclaim. He's got the audience acclaim. He showed with 'Damn.' and then with these diss records that he can sell as much as anyone when he puts out more "popular" sounding music... and now he's got a battle victory to add to the legacy.

He's easily top 10 all time.
