Yes. For black people at least. I'm sure if MLK was alive he would be screaming from the rooftops of how cowardly a c00n this president is. But i forgot, he isn't the president of black america, so we should shut the fukk up right?

:pacspit:
What come on man we gotta stop this if you dont like him fine but he is not the worst president for black people there are presidents that expanded slavery lol.

@Born2BKing no response breh:sas1:

Gator u smart breh, can you decode the speech for me. @Napoleon bytched out:leostare:
My response is he is just another president but of course he has to be super negro in order to please people. That goes with anything in life from sports to corporate America. If you not a starting black qb,, your ass ain't gonna be in the league for long because you either great or terrible. No difference with Obama. The expectations put on that man are crazy and he gets credit for nothing from damn near anybody. The far right says he's too liberal and the liberals say he is too conservative. Kill Bin laden then it's bu bu but what about the drone strikes.

Obama has two options, he can play a game of chess and hope what he puts in places helps his people in the long term or he can be more of a inspirational leader to the black community. I'm pretty sure he's chosen the former. I for one don't think the president has a much power as a lot of states Chief of police. (Here in LA they literally answer to NO ONE)

Being the president you have alot of potential power that you really never get to use unless "they" want you to, and when you want to make something happen that doesn't jive well it gets shot down by those same governing bodies.

Also Brehs...

Look no further than the aftermath

You have a plethora of protesrs across the nation and around the world and the only man who has the reach to stop them is

The man who could've arguable leaned on the local government to be more proactive in how they handled the verdict

Obama's presidency has set black people back at least 20 years in America.
An epic failure of enormous proportions

dude, you don't know what you're talking about

wish he could have done more but that's the stupidest statement I've read this month. Can we admit you're exaggerating and being a bit over zealous?

Immigration STRONGLY benefits latinos, they are the ones that pushed for it, not black folks.
Well no shyt, but its not an exclusively latino bill. This is the point. The country is bigger than you or I. You must realize this. This happens in diverse nations. Look around the world.

Black folks haven't pushed for LGBT rights either. I'm for them personally, but for blacks as a group, there are bigger issues.
BLACK GAY PEOPLE did.

Next point.

However, issues that DIRECTLY affect black folks, that black folks push for, get little to no tangible response. And black folks gave Obama over 92% of their votes to him. So of course many black people are pissed.
You're dancing.

What legislation is there being proposed solely for black people?
What, are we supposed to continue getting crumbs on each issue, while other groups get a big chunk of what they want?
Then get your money up and buy politicians.

You can't cry foul in the system then say you have nothing to offer.

What could Obama do more of?

I mean you guys are pretending he's supposed to fire any judge he disagrees with (illegal) and hold his own court on this local civil matter (also illegal)

Why are you quoting me man? I'm on your side - read! I said "I wish he could have done more" - if you can't admit that it hasn't been the most productive presidency then you're not being objective.

The thing is he either is or he isn't.. Him being a Black man is either relevant and pertinent or not.. We have to stop trying to have it both ways..

You cant be like this

Obama Fan - "These racists in congress wont let him push his agenda forward just because he's BLACK MAN and they can't handle it!!!

Obama Voter- "I wish he would have more passion and enthusiasm for issues that affect Black men in America. "

Obama Fan- "He ain't Nino Brown!!. He aint the president for BLACK folks!!He's for ALL AMERICANS!! What yall want him to do, break dance and shoot dice in the Oval office!?!?"

All I'm saying is stop trying to prop up the guy as convienently Black when it fits your agenda...Then trying to hide behind the "position" whenever accountability is required by his base...
Obama has spoken about Ferguson SEVERAL times and even more when you consider this

1. He has to learn about the issue.
2. He has to care enough to actually speak out about it
3. He has to convince people its worth devoting time to in a VERY busy schedule (very underrated)
4. He has to take the effort out to literally spend time to discussing this SINGLE issue on primetime TV
5. he has to create talking points (more time) and refine his statements (even more time) to address the entire nation as to why they should care about this issue
6. he's talked about it in front of the United Nations

Theres a lot more than "talking" that goes into this.

Dude sent the entire DoJ to ferguson and even personally spoke with local political leaders himself.

Theres a lot of shyt that went down behind the scenes that Obama will never get credit for because he didn't magically "stop" racism.

You all have to be fukking kidding me right now.

I agree with the bolded but can you just (briefly) elaborate on why you think that his presidency specifically set back blacks by 20 years?
