1. Never said immigration was an exclusively latino bill. But latinos pushed for it, not black folks. And Obama listened.
2. Black gay people do not constitute the majority of gays. For black folks as a whole, LGBT rights were not a major issue. WHITE gay people pushed those issues to the forefront. And Obama listened.
3. No I'm not dancing. Black people were his strongest electoral base, no question. Who else supported him on the polls better than black people?
4. Not what I'm saying. I clearly said issues that black people pushed to the forefront, in this case police brutality, Obama hasn't done much of anything.

But I feel that for him to go up and actually say that is to question every judicial decision made under him. It's different than your local government calling out injustices. Yeah, they were. I guess you don't know any gay people. Black people are not "majority" anything but as long as they benefit even indirectly, I support it.
Money talks, not popularity. Black people en masse don't have their business interests in order to truly buy off politicians...and focusing on Obama is weak. Theres still other congressmen who aren't black and who aren't even focused on black issues who have more immediate impacts. Obama is not some all powerful entity.
He's advocated for police cameras...but he doesn't write laws. So hit up your congressman.

Thing is black voters for quite a while have been naive. We've mostly been voting democrat for a long time now. It's almost a habit. Now comes Barack, who's not only a democrat but, as a person, is likeable and he almost got all black votes.
But we didn't do our due diligence. You have to put pressure on your officials or they'll take you for granted. LGBTs and latinos have been putting the pressure on him and the democrats for a while. Meanwhile, many black voters believed that voting alone will make things happen.
Thus, we are were we are. At least, more black voters are finally seeing how the game really goes.
Its well documented that Michelle is a realist and has been known to almost get herself and the POTUS in trouble with some of her comments.
This is the same woman that said "this is the first time i'm proud of my country"
That statement speaks WAY more than some of you all think it does.
And he's got Valerie Jarrett and Michelle's mom in there holding him down.
