all you nikkas saying tyler trash you do know his albums tell a story if you listen to it in a certain order

that's in itself is ingenious because it took nikkas FOREVER to figure it out

yo you just put me on to game:ohhh:, never heard that future jet age of tomorrow group
its "jet age of tomorrow"

it sucks that it came to that being a lowkey hardcore fan(i have the magazines they appeared in and few of the merchandise items) you could tell something was off last year once frank left and tyler said the comments about earl and the rest were much doing their own thing they really never got the chance to grow as a group unit(they only put out 1 ablum as a group which was OF tape vol.2) while most groups would be on their second or third album by this point hopefully their still cool tho its just one group with different goals at this point

I made a thread calling them the next Wu, Cypress Hill, NWA etc. Had nothing to do with music or sales, it was strictly about being the first group in a long while with a large mostly whiteboy fan base. I was 100% right too but people can't read

I'm glad that you came forward but even comparing them to those groups in that respect is still blasphemous. And who really cares if they have a mostly white fanbase? Wu Tang still is a legendary group that makes classic music. Cypress Hill has some good music as well.

Odd Future had a mostly white fanbase because they had that obnoxious "we try too hard to be controversial and edgy" style which attracted a lot of the Eminem fans. Especially Tyler the Creator who has c00n merchandise which alienated any black people from really giving him any major support.

And of course all the :flabbynsick: 90s nikkas that populate the booth can never :obama: and keep it moving

In here  over this group of young artists being compared to Wu Tang 5 years ago :mjlol:

Making sure to let everyone know how you never liked them :beli:

Just general negativity and crabbiness all around

.

I agree but my point was that the rock band-like following that NWA, Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill and even Public Enemy have to this day has been missing since the early-90s. Hip hop became focused on the club scene that I think most white people (mainly white dudes) really only pretend to be down with. They are much more comfortable in the "wild out in mosh pit" environment than a "pop champagne and wear jewelry" environment. It was a lucrative part of the hip hop market that wasn't being taken advantage, the same market that Tech N9ne eats off of. Odd Future was a throwback to those days. My exact quote was "they won't sell a lot of records but they will sell a lot of T-shirts".

It was just an observation, nothing blasphemous about it...

Gang violence...
they were overhyped at the start, and corny as hell when trying to be funny, but i am glad they gave us earl, the internet, and last but certainly not least fukk steve harvey
