Backlash did decently, Vengeance did very well, 420k. Post 2001, there are only 2 B PPVs that did better: No Way Out 02 and 03 with NWO and Austin returns and more of the attitude era holdover audience.

That is nothing brag about..they ran to Hogan for 2 str8 Summerslams. They made Batista a mid carder by WM 24 and Mayweather was in the top spot..him and Big Show. So Big Show is one of the greatest draws of all time? Lol

Yes he did, they were much higher, look them up instead of just talking out of your ass. Why do you always start these arguments with people, have no proof and then continue to post nonsense. And again, I am a MUCH bigger fan of Eddie's then gayass Batista.

Batista's PPVs and house show gates as champs were MUCH higher than Eddie's.

By this do you mean SD PPVs and gates in 05 with Batista as champ vs SD PPVs/gates in 04 with Eddie as champ?

They've done those numbers only two other times on a non big four ppv (most Survivor Series don't even do that number) in 12 years. That's a big deal. After being moved to SD and getting injured Batista wasn't as hot when he got back in 06. Batista wasn't going to carry things on SD against JBL.

The Big Show/Mayweather point makes little to no sense to me. Batista isn't Hogan or Rock, but you can point to multiple times when he's drawn good numbers significantly above other wrestlers.

It's not a big deal because it was a fluke thing and he didn't consistently do it...didn't consistently sell out arenas. Invasion did 700k but that was a gimmick situation and never got to that level again until they had to do dream matches with icons and big time returns. That's it. Batista had that belt several times post 2005 and they ran to Mayweather, Trump, Hogan, and others to get the bottom line marketing increase and arenas sold out. He had a good half year in 2005 but he didn't bring any numbers like that to Smackdown. Damn sure didn't lead to any boom or anything legit. By that time, they started giving Cena credit for everything that made money or got praised. Cripple H was shooting on him being injured and shyt by 07 out of the blue and for no reason.

I have no doubt that Bautista was a huge part for that rating. BUT, there's also no doubt in my mind that if Cena had closed RAW like D-Bry did last week, he would also be included as a reason for the high rating :cena: :manny:

That pattern makes a lot of sense too. The only 2 things to look forward about RAW was Bautista's return and the follow up to DB, and that was done in the first 40 minutes
Thats it and all it was.. That was my only reason for watching.. I dont care about orton vs cena because it involves cena... I think it woould be stupid to have the title change hands before wrestlemania unless they plan on doing a rematch, and cena and orton is not a wrestlmania caliber feud

people didn't watch after that because it was obvious nothing that mattered would happen for the rest of raw...its REAL simple folks. Its the go home show of a ppv; its not like a title was changing hands, and the big 'event' of the night happened early.

Batista has to induct Warrior, their long lost brothas

both had swag for their time period
both roided up
both had the best entrance for their time period
both sucked ass in the ring

The outfit he wore killed his heat, Tista came out looking like Rico :pachaha:
Also he looked tired just trying to climb all the ropes in the opener. Mania season is going to be an epic disaster. At least Rock only got blown up in matches , DC Dave is gonna sucking wind just to get through promos.

Yeah, I only tuned in for the GOAT. I figured the Batista stuff would've closed the show :manny:

I remember Batista saying his favorite wrestler of all time was The Warrior (Not the Ultimate) lol
