The public perception of ICE is different, even if they were doing the exact same thing under Obama (which they were not doing the exact same things to the exact same degree.) And Obama =/= Trump. Trump is making ICE his personal army to do everything from harassing people, legal or not, to standing at the airport, to "policing" poling stations.
You want other Black people to be fine with Black people "getting the bag" with ICE under the trump? That would require Black people to have no issue with each other being tools for white supremacists.

Here’s what I think.
It will be HARD for democrats or republicans to fire the 10,000 + agents that were hired. Not because they are good guys, because they are seen as law enforcement. Not saying these guys are cops, but they will run the “defund ice” campaign that will translate to “defund the police”.
I then think to myself what type of nominee is going to be dumb enough to fire them? Trump has given every President moving forward the blueprint on how to use ICE.
From TSA assistance to city wide crime sweeps. Future presidents will tell us Trump did it wrong, while they explain why their new way of using ICE is correct.
I could be wrong but I don’t think ICE is going anywhere. Especially when democrats refuse to fund DHS. NOT to stop them, fire them, cap the number of agents, but to get them to not wear masks and get “warrants”. This doesn’t sound like a group that doesn’t want ICE, this sounds like a group that wants to better control ICE.
The Dems are refusing to fund DHS. One of their priorities is that ICE stops wearing masks. Trump immediately one ups them and tells ICE no masks at the airport, we want to look friendly for the people getting off planes.

A few suggesting they should be called the n word with the er. Why in the hell would any black person suggest that or think that is ok? I have not seen Latino ICE agents be demonized in this way. It's very strange. Some have more smoke for black people that don't give a fukk than they do for the people that invited the immigrants in and now kicking them out. How should I feel as a Black American man when I see and hear things like this? I don't do the liberal and conservative thing like that but black liberals and the people that love them have lost their fukking minds over these goddamn immigrants that come and give us their asses to kiss.
