Oh well the Raptors shouldn't be a bad team with him at Point.

how would that work out? please tell me without dantoni and melo hoggin the ball. how would that work? smh putting star players together doesn't equal wins.

seriously? he'll probably make us good enough for the playoffs but not good enough to do anything. we've been shytty, then got half-way decent, got shytty again...over and over the same thing.

fukk that. that's bc ball. it's time to break the cycle.

you've been in the lotto a couple of years now. You do have Jonas V on the way with another top 10 pick to add to an already young team. Don't you wanna at least get these young guys off on the right foot? Put it like this: unless you wanna full on tank for Shabazz, don't set your sights on tanking next year. Nash won't be there long enough to make y'all a treadmill team. At this point, it's in your best interest that Bargs, Jonas V and Demar DeRozan get it together so they can be your core going forward. Nash can only help there.

to me, the right foot is having a proper vision (a true rebuild in this case) and executing it rather than bringing in old fukks that are probably still good enough to balloon your squad up to something better than it is without him.

nash will immediately make us better but when he retires in a couple years, then what? they'll have to re-learn how to play without one of the goat passers orchestrating the offense.

bargs is what he is. demar will improve in certain aspects but he's pretty close to his ceiling i think, production-wise...jonas is a blank slate. i don't see the point in spoiling him.

i'm a raptors fan man. i'm sick of this shyt. either we're gonna develop a team from the ground up or we're not and we'll end up an 8th seed and lose in the first round for the rest of eternity.

i'd rather continue having a bad record, get some talent and build instead of putting band-aids on gunshot wounds over and over again.

Nash is great for about the first half of the season.

Post All Star break, he begins to look his age.

His passing skills aren't what they used to be, but he's still top 5 in that regard.

I watched him play towards the end of this past season and I thought he looked to be in decline.

He's MLE status now.A team would be stupid to pay him 10+ million dollars a year.

I think he's going to fall all the way off his year.Especially on a team where he's the main star.

If he went to the Thunder and they moved Westbrook over to SG to play in the backcourt with him, that would be an ideal situation for old #13.

He needs to go to a team where he can facilitate and only have to worry about being the 3rd or 4th option on offense

.....you've established a winning culture, wiped away the past few years of blatant tanking from people's memory and talent like Iggy or Gay won't Rick Ross grunt at the thought of signing with the Raps in free agency so assets wouldn't have to be wasted trading for them.

and you're right, Big Val is literally a blank slate. he's a foreigner coming to a strange country and doesn't know more than 10 words in english. you want him beasting from the start/have his confidence rolling from the jump. it's too easy for foreign bigs to fall in the Mozgov trap, breh. :wow:
