It's not just hockey it's with any fight involving blacks or white, there was a fight at a HS Basketball game here in Montgomery in 2009 and it was so many racist comments on that shyt I swear but a they had a fight like up the road in Prattville (private school) and wasn't nobody saying shyt.

The entire stadium is involved, and each team has "goons" for the sole purpose to fight players.
Its accepted if its in a police/retaliation matter. But often its used to knock out top players from the otherside

if you actually saw ESPN the days after this happened, they repeatedly called them goons or the "goon squad" because that's what the 4th line is called. the goon squad, enforcers, etc. the starters weren't on the ice for that fight.
