I don't need any new shoes, but I am heading to France next month and want something comfortable but still stylish. Trying to decide if I go with a pair of Asics Gel NYC or a pair of New Balance 1906R. The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 though is starting to look good to me though too.
Truth be told them French nikkas been on the Asics runner wave well over 10 years now

I had the NB 9060's before I ever saw anyone wear them in person. Then it became the shoe everyone has so I switched to Asics 1130 and Kayano 14's. Now everyone has them. I'm about to switch to Mizuno since Kith is the only US retailer and I've never seen anyone rock them.

I started wearing the Asics Gel Lyte IIIs and Vs about a decade ago because they were hella comfortable, it's wild to see the Kayano's become popular enough that people are wearing them as everyday trainers now and as "fashion". I get the Gel Lytes because they have the retro look and boutiques were doing collabs, I would have never expected the Kayanos to take off tho.

Love the old retro look of both the III's and V's. Also, very comfortable. Been a staple for me as well. The Kayano's I never thought would be getting the push that they've gotten. I actually think I had a pair of the 14's years ago when they came out, but as someone who bought based off or recommendation and not a true runner, they never got the love they probably deserved.

But color and collaboration wise they've done some really good things.

Been rocking New Balance forever

Asics, sorry can't do it

Pretty much every single girl between 20-40 that I've seen this summer is wearing baggy jeans/jean skirt and Sambas. Every single girl
