I've played more Resogun than I did Killzone on my PS4 since launch date. That said, Geo wars 3 is the GOAT twin stick shooter

You can't really compare this to any AAA exclusive because it's not better. It's fun but I'd rather play something like the order over screamride. It's good in the same vein as minecraft but that same scale doesn't apply to a game that's a low budget indie title. It's all about context

Watch, play either way, it's just a time waster. Nothing that will draw you in. I'll use the order again as an example. Would you really compare these 2 games together? The only thing they have in common is that they both use controllers but I would be more intrigued by the order and most likely to put 15-20 mins in small doses on scream ride in between bigger games. That's just my opinion tho.

"Indie" has come to mean more than the literal sense of the word.

It basically equates to "not AAA"

Most of you nikkas should understand that there can, and is a place for middle-tier developers. These teams exist and believe it or not, make dope games that isn't fueled by a ridiculous budget.

Machinegames, Platinum, Insomniac, From Software, CD Projekt RED, People Can Fly, Epic Games, Sucker Punch, etc. All great games both visually and gameplay wise with non-ridiculous, bloated budgets.
