How exactly is DJ Quik shadowed by Dre? Like I said, his greatness would shine regardless of whatever Dre had going.

If we're saying that Quik is somehow the super producer that Dre is supposed to be by default, then it's a discredit to Quik. It's to say that he's only the greatest because Dre is discredited.
