Why should Drake or anybody else for that matter have to respond to some publicity stunt?
If anything that that "Control" verse Kendrick spit showed his desperation. All the other new generation/new legends were operating "business as usual" and this midget had to go and throw this huge monkey wrench in the situation.
Drake has the potential to be a cultural icon. He's well put together, well spoken, charismatic, has a cross-genre appeal and if all this music stuff slows down has long career on the silver screen ahead of him. 3 albums in, a label option pending, successful annual festival and clothing line and still dominating radio....I'd say Drake is in a better position than Kendrick right now.

it's true, kendrick doesn't need to be as big as drake, he already dropped an album that will probably be remembered.
can't say the same about drake, all his albums are a moment.. he doesn't have 1 album discussed as a great album outside of the drake stans
