I signed an agreement to allow them to use this in their marketing materials.

I'm hoping to leverage this to broaden my fan base and generate more work, and this is the best kind of "free" work I can do.

so now you have leverage, a few contacts (at least whoever reached out to you), and a path you can replicate.

I'd try to reach out to that same person who reached out to you to see if you can come up with any other illustrations or cartoons etc. for any future movies, if you can try to be a part of the rollout for anything they have in the future. It's great art use the momentum to keep rising.
