But in general I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants/bars. I still haven't ever been to a PF Changs in my life. I'm good with the old dirty chinese restaurant down the block.



I did go to Cheesecake Factory once. Pretty tasty drinks there. Overpriced overall though.
I've always wanted to go to an Outback Steakhouse. I should do that one day.

I mean...it's nice cause you're never gonna spend more than $20 there. So it's affordable and plus you and yo lady can just talk and drink coffee.

This...the movie thing is played out, plus you're going to spend more than $40 just for the movies.

When I was in college BBWs and Applebee's was popular for first dates for us non cac college kids. Applebee's had half off appetizers after 9 , TV, and drinks or 2 for $20 so you and a girl could eat for the low while socializing at the bar watching games. Even if you went with your boys could easily meet groups of girls Friday/Saturday after 9 pm plus they stay open until 1 or 2 am. Goodtimes for me brehs.

Plus...starbucks has food too. They got panini sandwiches, wraps, and artisinal sandwiches....so you got coffee, food, atmosphere....

But, let me tell you something...if you like japanese food and are in NYC, head to Kenka on St. Marks Place in Manhattan...seriously, dope japanese food and nothing over $12.

Also, if you're waiting in line there (like there is usually a line), there's Search & Destroy upstairs (you can see it in the pic) dope punk rock gear and vintage clothes.

My last few first dates have been at Starbucks. Get to know them, buy a coffee and doughnut and only spend 20 bucks.

Its better to find out you don't click with someone over a $5 cup of coffee than $80 of drinks and half eaten dinner. Also a great way to weed out who's really into you and who's really into what you can do for them.
