You gone disprove what I posted bruh? Or you just gone cosign nikkas?

Prove me wrong that Steph didn't struggle in consecutive games because of the defensive strategy employed
Breh you were saying basic ball IQ as if you unlocked a code :mjlol:

What are you getting at here?

I'm just trying to understand why when anyone debates with you about a players performance you usually ask "did you watch the game". I remember me and you talking about Jimmy Butler when he had a bad game and you asked did I watch the game or look at the box score. I told you whether I saw the game or not that wouldn't change the numbers.

I don't have league pass but I see alot of TNT, ESPN and NBA TV games. And I do watch every Rockets game. But when I've talked to you about Curry or Butler you always come with the "did you watch the game".

You also make it a point to note that you watch every game so I just wanna know why when debating players performances is watching the game as opposed to seeing the box score better in your opinion?

It means he's more informed than the casual coli watcher that only watches their shytty ass team on most occasions.

That's a nonsensical way of looking at things. What numbers are you going off? Just the standard box score or what? Butler's one of the best wing defenders in the league, how could you possibly know how much influence/impact on the defensive end if you just looked at the #s? If he shot poorly, how would you know if there weren't some shots he needed to take late in the shot clock or if other teammates would refuse to shoot or be out of rhythm? If he had a high % of turnovers, how would you know it wasn't his teammates who were more to blame?

Because I can usually tell when someone is talking nonsense about a player/team.

I do NOT make that a point at all, because I do not watch every game.

Are you seriously asking why is it better to watch the game rather than just looking at the box score to measure how well a player/team played?

to be honest I dont e buy the notion that the Spurs have solved Curry because a 1 game sample size isnt good enough

The remaining 2 games will give me a more informed opinion

The problem with this is you're creating a straw man argument by claiming that posters (plural) said it's not possible for Curry to have two bad shooting performances in a row - who the fukk even said this? Furthermore teams have played him "tight" plenty much the entire season and he's still managed to shoot at high efficiency - to rule it under a two game sample of how it fits your bias beforehand doesn't prove anything. There's a lot more to why he shot poorly than just how he was defended. It's not as simple as you're making it out to be.

I get watching the game as I try to watch much as I can. I just wanted to hear from you in your words why you always throw did you watch the game out there. Becuz I know it would be almost impossible to watch EVERY game on a night to night basis.

So the fukk what? If you let these nikkas on here tell it, Steph Curry is impervious to tight defense and he'll make it whether you smother him or not because he's better than Kobe and Jordan and magic put together

Because you can tell when someone is talking nonsense about a team/player and clearly didn't watch the game - either through them just bringing up the box score or regurgitating casual fan talking points.
