I'm not disputing this. The point is Tariq intended to make more millions with a functioning social media app. The aim wasn't the crowdfund money. He intended to flip it and he failed.

At the time prominent black ppl like him and Boyce were getting censored or banned from Facebook for speaking on black issues. The whole campaign was reactionary and spur of the moment during the whole BLM uprising. Boyce and others were discussing alternative platforms. Ppl were expecting proof of concept and that Moorus or something like it could work as a space for conscious black thought, no one gave Tariq money expecting a FB level site.

Did he ever have a wireframe or some mockups of what the app was supposed to look like before people donated?
I never saw one and at that point I was following him pretty closesly.
