You acting like Rock wasn't one of the most consistent in ring talents in WWE history

Clearly, this thread and train of thought is instigated by R=G hate, but you acting like Rock wasn't the go to talent for the ENTIRE Attitude Era. Austin had been broken down and beat up for the bulk of the Attitude Era so the WWE needed another go to top guy and even when Austin was 100% Rock was right there with him. Rock is not a great technician but he was a great athlete with a high workrate. I'm a big psychology guy and Rock could be bad with that, but hell so was Hogan and HBK, ALL of them did those cartoon antics.


Half ya'll praise Cena in ring now, but Cena in ring now still isn't bettet than Rock in his prime (he's better than current Rock tho).

I give Bret and HBK (two of my all time favorites) props for passing the torch like they should have and how nobody did it for them, but the Attitude Era centered around Austin and Rock. You act like Rock wasn't the focal point of WMs 15-19, how he wasn't outshining people in the main event during the IC fued with Austin. A HUGE part of it was the chemistry they had but you gonna say Mankind and DX were bigger than Rock, you clearly trolling now.

Austin only wrestled ppvs in summer 1999 due to hurting so bad before leaving, so he essentially missed a year and a half. The Rock in 2000 was bigger than any wrestler in the history of wrestling. Superstar pops in front of sellouts everywhere across the board. WWE had its biggest year ever. Vince was an actual billionaire. How come it got bigger when Rock replaced Austin but once HHH took over for Austin, the ride was over?
