He carried 4 guys in one match. The most entertaining one in the whole match.
The Rock is Cena with better charisma and mic skills. Both are competent enough to not hurt the match and hold there own and on a occasion when with a great performer they are at the top of they're game.
You were only tagged once and you entered and participated in the thread. You either gotta ignore the "trolls" and keep it moving or get in the trenches....
The original question I asked wasn't even on some bullshyt. Outside of the Hogan matches (which were great matches based on the atmosphere/nostalgia surrounding them), I find it hard to say he outright carried any the true classic matches he has to his name. During his active career, he always held up his end of the match and always put on an entertaining show. I turn a blind eye to the return runs though.....
No, no, no..I have multiple tags for this thread and many others from your OP creator. That's his gimmick. That's what he does. Now..there is no trenches and there is no credibility to these topics at this forum without my input. You in here talking about the Rock and Cena are the same level in the ring. Absolutely fukking absurd conversations going on the last few posts and I'm rolling. John Cena can't bump..definitely can't sell...and Supermans at the end of every match more than Hogan in his prime and Undertaker when he was the dead man. From all intents, you just don't know what a good match is. The Rock has carried matches..carried feuds..carried mic work..tag matches...Survivor Series matches..I quit matches...carried the industry like no one else in history. He was having 20-25 minute no commercial break matches ...bullshyt situations like soft workers get flipped on today since they can't keep attention and he was doing that on Raw and Smackdown. Cripple H would maybe work on Raw and then do a promo on Smackdown that year. He was never as consistent and never on the same level. These are little things you don't see and always need pointed out to you, the OP, and most of the comedy posters who have yet to make a decent point in this thread with the smilie comedy antics. Children shyt basically. There is a reason people raced to turn channel on Michaels, Bret, and all of those guys but threw trash in the ring after Rock got attacked post Mania 17 Raw. Threw trash at Benoit at Fully Loaded 2000. He's bigger than scope of what youre talking about. Cena had to bow down and call him the greatest. The boy you all act like is a Daniel Bryan in the ring had to bow down like a hoe after WM 28 in front of hostiles. He's not even a real man.
Rock>WWE...his paycheck last year proved it.
Quite frankly. I don't care about your OP and troll gimmicks. I just responded to someone tagging me up like 5x needing my input above anyone else's.

Rock vs Lance Storm

Rock...carried one of the most consistently good wrestlers of the late 90s? When the hell was this?
I don't even check for Lance Storm like that but to say he needed carrying to a good match is inconceivable
Get me back when this thread is credible and I don't hurt feelings to the point of you writing baseless diatribes defending a mediocre OP point.Cool stories breh. Get back to me when one of those tangents you are going on in that dissertation starts to divert back to the thread topic. Nobody is questioning his legend status or classics he has.

Nah...just carryjobs. There is no one wrestler who is walking around with classics for years on end except for Macho Man Randy Savage and certain Japanese workers. Bret Hart doesn't have a career full of classics. He has some stand out matches. His biggest match was a screwjob situation. Same thing with Michaels. That's what they are known for. If he was as over as Bret was in history, they would't have shytted on him so badly when he shafted Bryan. Flair has alot of great encounters but if you break them down, they are formula matches with a guy that has alot of ring stamina. Taker only started to have highly regarded matches at the tail end of his run. All of the stuff from 1990-1996 was basically shytted on and treated as no sells. The HIAC 97 match was important because Kane debuted...Owen, one of the best ring talents you'll ever see in your lifetime, what's his classic count? Bret vs Owen at WM X at best. Benoit had a ton of great matches but they have all been marred from the record. Eddie dropped classics that people will never even see because he was on the international bracket. Austin had great matches in WCW with Steamboat and Sting but he barely brings that up and only regards his Stone Cold work as the highpoint of his career. The Bret and Rock matches seem to be his absolute favorites.
There are classic matches..iconic matches but no one was dropping years and years of them. During Bret and Shawn's heyday, all of those "good matches" had people running to the exits and awaiting the rise of Steve Austin and then sticking with the Rock. The story meant more in the end. As usual. People try to run to workrate and matches to justify an overrated type's career push. Which is expected considering they won't be as revered in history.

They had a match for Storm's contract post Survivor Series 01 and all he did was eat offense. It wasnt about NEEDING carrying. But Rock was the only one doing any work in that match. And when was Storm a consistently good wrestler? He has no classics..no stand out matches..basically a nobody in history except for that training school. Good in the ring but seen by what? 25k crowds when Rock or Austin weren't there to pack em up....no one here has EVER brought up Storm as some all time great workers. We laugh at Austin burying him more than mention his matches. Beth Phoenix meant more than him. Sad.
