All they did was start the attitude era, bring guaranteed contracts to wrasslin, modernize wrestling gimmicks and have the matches that defined the bidness :manny:

They damn sure didn't start the attitude era, and how did they modernize wrestling gimmicks? A gay male stripper? A truck driver? A wannabe Tony Montana 10 years after Scarface came out? That's modernizing wrestling gimmicks to you? :dahell:

Nash put it best, DX was Kliq north and NWO was Kliq south, ran the bidness top to bottom during the HEIGHT of the industry

Hogan ran the business

And as far as gimmicks, by the time Hall and Nash went down south Austin was already running with the Stone Cold gimmick, you had loose cannon Brian Pillman.. WWF was already well on its way to modernizing wrestling gimmicks

It goes like this....Bret and Shawn had failed. Ratings were terrible. Hall should of been given the ball in the WWF since fans cheered him over everyone by January 96. In the end, Hall coming to WCW created a lightning bolt of buzz and by the time the Bash at the Beach 96 hype was upon us, the fever pitch for what seemed like a WWF invasion was on everyone's tongues. It all made sense when it was Hogan as it came full circle considering he was the biggest WWF dog of all time at that juncture. Hogan turning heel flipped WCW into a ratings winner and then Sting got ultra hot in under a year's time..then Goldberg blew up. Those were the names that kept things going strong on WCW. Bret and Shawn weren't cutting it in the WWF but when Austin did the Tyson angle? It was any and everywhere...ESPN ran wild with it. Tyson helping with WM 14 is what put the WWF over the edge and the viewers stayed with Austin after he won the title.

Thank you for your support. Glad to have another credit get added to my IMDB page. Huge year for Big Sexy Kevin Nash: HOF induction, Magic Mike XXL being a universal smash, Kliq Rules DVD, and my upcoming film with underrated thespian Tom Sizemore "Blue Line" coming up soon.

The only thing missing is a Kevin Nash DVD that the streets have been craving for over a decade. After filming the Kliq DVD, one of the cameramen and I sat down, opened several bottles of Red Wine, and he filmed about 4 hours of myself discussing highlights of my life, including:
  • Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas nearly getting the Lakers and Pistons into a bidding war over who could sign me out of college
  • My career playing pro ball in Europe, where I once averaged 48.2 points and 25.5 rebounds a game in the Ireland Pro League
  • How 2pac, not Dennis Rodman, was supposed to be the first Celebrity member of the nWo
  • The true amount of Vanilla Midgets I buried to Management
  • My inductions into 34 different Pro Wrestling Hall of Fames and how I have an entire wing to myself in the South Korean Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame
  • Moves I've invented, including the 360 Powerbomb, that are banned by the WWE
