Before everybody tries to combine 2 or 3 states just hear me out. The DMV is not the complete D.C. Maryland Virginia area. This is only about a 70 mile radius between Baltimore, PG County, DC and down thru Tidewater with less than 4 million people. I'll start with some names, feel free to add on or debate with your area (provide current player's names):

Baltimore is not DMV.

Neither is Richmond, tidewater, etc.

I don't consider Columbia apart of DMV either. Same for Maryland south of PG county.

I was born in D.C., raised in P.G.

How I've always understood it, DMV is just D.C, P.G., Montgomery and Charles Counties in MD and Northern Virginia.

Of that list, the only ones I would consider representative of the DMV are:

Im from PG County and thought it was metro areas only too in high school '98-'01..But its been expanding ever since. So lets just go with the original premise.

Columbia, might as well be Baltimore... aint nothing past laurel considered the DMV to me.

Everything south of laurel,West of Annapolis,East of Rockville and North of Fairfax is the DMV to me.

you didn't really start seeing there being this controversy over what's the DMV and whats not, til non DMV residents wanted to feel apart of something.

i guess it's that thing where nobody knows what/where the fukk an Olney or Fredricksburg are..so they use the DMV thing to give people a better reference.

Bal'mr and DC are tewww different things
