Someone from LA can speak to this better than me, but from the outside, one of the things that came out of the Game era of the West was a more DIY motto. From Eazy's death thru to Game, Dre had a lock on whatever came through the West Coast. TDE, YG & Mustard, Nipsey, Dom, etc all had their own movements with no hands out from Dre. Even the Kendrick partnership, let's be real, how much of Kendrick's reign can we attribute to Dre?
