Music has grown and changed, but their sound hasn't. If they were a new group that came out today, they'd flop and disappear


Wu went from the best group ever, to a bunch of solid solo artists, to a bunch of struggling solo artists, to a bunch of struggling solo artists attempting to be a group, to whatever it is they are now


Only Ghostface (and Rza on the production side at least) have any sort of work ethic. Everyone else is lazy. And I've listened to every "official" release by them as solo artists and a group. The only thing noteworthy in the last 5+ years has been the recent guest spots by Ghost and Rae :badass:


Wu will always hold a place in hip-hop history for changing the game, but they should be on the Throwback circuit with a lot of them dusty ass :artbarr: nukkas right now and not headlining current hip-hop tours....

in your opinion. in others, they have released high quality albums for 20 years. and the point of this thread is they have escaped the box veterans get thrown into. They play these tours cause they obviously have people who want to see them as opposed to groups like say the geto boys... who reunite at gatherings of juggalos in icp facepaint

wu is embedded in american culture. the only other group that RIGHT NOW, would be able to headline a big festival is outkast. sorry you were so dissapointed with the wu. you musta been one of those heads that trades in every few years for the next big thing.
