Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Houston takes a lot, but they aren't that accurate, they are a 3 point volume shooting team.

They were 15th in the league for percentage, that's the problem with them taking threes. If they took that many threes and were up around where the Warriors & Cavs shoot then they'd be damn near unbeatable, but dudes like Ariza getting 7 a game as a 34% shooter is just :ld:

What happened the last 3:32 of Game 7 of the NBA Finals? Or the Overtime and final minutes of last night's game for Houston? Fatigue is a factor in long-range 3PT shooting mechanically, moreso than shots closer to the rim. If you need a bucket after playing 38 minutes and being forced to work on defense , a 30 footer probably isn't your best bet

i think fatigue is a factor in general. just as it could play a factor into taking a jumper, it could play a factor in someone driving to the hole a step slower for a layup, or just not finishing in general

last night i can think of 4 missed shots in crunch time that were near the basket

or the sloppy turnovers by Harden when he actually did try and drive to the rim

Houston plays gimmick-ball and they'll lose against any team with good perimeter defense (like the Warriors, or even the Spurs eventually).

GS was overly reliant on the 3 last year too, and despite having the greatest shooter of all time, shots from 30 feet are variable and affected by fatigue so they lost
If Parker didn't get hurt, series would be over by now

Now Leonard about to play on a bum ankle

Eventually there's going to be a team that shoots at Houston's volume but at like 45%. Then NBA basketball will be broken.

They're going to have to extend the 3pt line at some point.

Nah, it'll never happen, the Warriors have 3 of the best shooters ever and they top out at 38% as a team -

Curry - 41%
Klay - 41%
KD - 38%

And yet we put up Showtime Lakers historic Ortg number. Our offense this year was top two all-time at one point. I haven't check since then if we had a better bigbyhan capella we would've been better. Capella is nice but he's inconsistent and still developing. Ppl forget when he was drafted he was projected to two year away from ready but he came over right away. So he's learning in the fly. Houston is getting solid production from a raw center and 35 twilight big. Imagine if we had a top 15-10 big man at center

And Ariza been invaluable this series because he's the only who can actually guard Kawhi.

Your offense is basically a lesser version of what the Cavs and Warriors have, those teams do similar things as you yet they have secondary elite creators that can get their own outside the structure of the offense.

It's not the big man that is the issue, it's that you need someone other than Harden. Like how LeBron has Kyrie, yall tried do get that with the Lou Williams trade, but it's budget brand Kyrie.

I already know that. I been said Harden need a secondary creator/facilitator to ease the load off of him. But I don't think that person has to be on the wing. It can be a big man too. You can't get caught up in trying to emulate what's hot cuz the league operates in stylistic trends.

More importantly, here's the thing: the style the warriors and cage play they have an advantage because they have the best players for that scheme. No wing out there is attainable for Houston to emulate what they're doing that can play with Harden. No perimeter group is matching KD/Klay/curry or Lebron/kyrie/player. It's why I don't get the group that keep trying to break up Lillard and McCollum. They are so close and growing together. That's who I think will rise in the future soon. Imagine if they would've kept batum with them two and nurkic. Portland fukked themselves with their moves but I see something there. Even in the first round you seen glimpse of it: they were problem for that GSW defense.
