Exhausting options would be to interview people who aren't currently in a head coaching position, which they seemingly haven't started doing yet.Coaches usually don't get hired within a week. This is nothing to be concerned about. It would be irresponsible for a multi million dollar company to not exhaust all options before making a hire.
Before I start talking to coaches that just recently got fired or have no head coaching experience why not try and see if a team is willing to let go of their coach for the right price? Coaches have been traded beforeExhausting options would be to interview people who aren't currently in a head coaching position, which they seemingly haven't started doing yet.
Yeah, but that's rare and unlikely. Before I start talking to coaches that just recently got fired or have no head coaching experience why not try and see if a team is willing to let go of their coach for the right price? Coaches have been traded before
Yeah, maybe the Knicks should have waited to fire dude after the Finals and then do this so it looks disjointed but I agree with you. This is just due diligence. I don't know what guys are advocating for. Tampering with teams other coaches? If they back channeled the coaching search prior to firing Thibs and got caught that would be an epic fail/irresponsible .This is just exhausting every option. Before I start talking to coaches that just recently got fired or have no head coaching experience why not try and see if a team is willing to let go of their coach for the right price? Just go get Mike Malone and call it a day what's the issue here![]()
Realistically, you're setting yourself for failure. The roster isn't a championship roster but anything less than a Finals appearance next year and you'll be seen as not performing to expectations. How the Knicks the Mecca of Basketball but still getting treated like Jury Duty?
Mike Malone is just Thibs smoking one less lossey a dayJust go get Mike Malone and call it a day what's the issue here![]()
