Post 9/11 was it’s on era too

Someone, some time ago, was crying about things never being the same again because of COVID. And i agreed, but I also reminded them that we've done this before, and with just as much or greater level of impact. Life before September 11, 2001 might as well had happened on another planet considering what life became post 9/11. But we trudged on and we adjusted and we're still here. Now things have changed for good.. again.. and all we can do is adjust and trod on.. again.. is what I told them.

Past Pandemics Remind Us Covid Will Be an Era, Not a Crisis That Fades

Can't read it, and not sure how it answers to anything I said in my post, going by the title. We know the virus isn't just going away, and that there will be more pandemics in the future.
