So the whole "Superteam" idea is dead, right?

:pachaha: and calls the bulls a super team
I said to a lesser degree, basically along the lines of an elite team, your dumbass knows they had the best record or near for two seasons in a row. Nobody has shytted on the Bulls roster more than me, I just grouped them in with Knicks and Heat because they basically lucked out in FA and ended up with just Boozer.

They took the Superteam approach leading into FA, but didn't quite pull it off.

Seems like the 08 Celts & Heat are the exceptions and not the rule, everyone else has failed miserably trying to walk in their shoes of pairing stars via free agency or trades.

We got the Knicks imploding, the Nets being coached by a drunk and all their players disintegrating before our eyes, the Lakers were debacled into Bolivia last year. All the teams they traded with to get their star players have brighter futures, and thanks to how awful the Knicks and Nets have been it looks like the draft picks they gave up are going to be the gifts that keep on giving. I mean, the Knicks gave up a 1st round pick to get Bargnani :merchant:

Seems like you better have 4 all-stars that all fit together or the best player in the world (or at their position) coming to your team for that philosophy to work. I guess using your free caproom to fortify your team rather than outright building with it is the way to go, while the draft is where you should get your first and second best players from :manny: Unless you're Chris Grant, then you just draft a bunch of bench players that have advanced metrics.

You better then this my nikka, Nets super team is :fif: KG and pierce, had they all be in their prime like the Heat, they'd run the least. Knicks with Amare pre destroyed knee is a completely different player. Lakers added Nash who was 80 years old and beyond broken.

It still stands that you add superstars in PRIME, it can work

This roster as it was intended is not a mess, but the situation we are currently in with the roster is a mess. If everyone comes back and we still look like total garbage then I'll give in, but I still think there's a slight pulse with us.
If y'all catch some breaks come playoff time and squeak in, I can see y'all beating the Heat. Ain't no other team got a better shot.

No team that "squeaks in" the playoffs has a chance of beating the Heat in the east. Indiana is the only other legitimate contender

Ask yourself this, what is the main issue with the Nets at this current moment and why they've got the record they do?

According to lebron stans, lebron did it by himself. Wade and bosh, are just roleplayers.:skip:
Stars/Superstars who numbers have decreased in the playoffs due to injuries and inconsistency.

You're welcome. :leostare:

You misinterpreted what I said. The actual shot itself isn't necessarily lucky, all the things leading up to the shot were. As is everything else that has lead them to getting two titles. All these Superteams have self-destructed or got injured and the other 'contenders' have been either too young and inexperienced to actually compete with them.

The Heat have basically been without a rival for the last 2-3 seasons, because all these other Superteams have been killed off from factors that haven't affected Miami.
Indiana is a rival.

Let me rephrase what I said. The Nets have no chance of beating the Heat.
Prior to all them dudes dropping like flies -

Nets have beaten the Heat THREE times in a row. Combined score of 287 - 244. Keep sleepin on Brooklyn.

A healthy Nets team can beat the Heat. The way they moved the ball, the way they didn't need everybody to play to there complete abilities every game, the way they defended the Heat, the way they executed, their experience, their personnel etc.

You talking like this is out of the realm of possibility, the Nets just can't seem to catch a break, we seen what this team can do when dudes is all 90% functioning.

So now nikkas just making up shyt. Who said dis? :aicmon:
He can't comprehend the difference between names and production. Based off names people think that D-Wade and Bosh are putting up all-star numbers consistently. But they're not. If that dude watched most of the playoffs last year he would know that a lot of people were waiting for the production of Bosh and Wade. Nobody is saying they're role players because that's ridiculous, but I hate people who don't watch games or even look at stats instead making conclusions based off reputation.

Over the last 2-3 seasons? Naw. Basically only really this season, where they hitting their stride, they a rival. Prior to this season, they came under the too young and too inexperienced bracket.
did you see the 2012 series? :dead: it took a two man beast show for them to get a game against Indiana.
Last year they went to seven.

One playoff series doesn't determine shyt. Do you also having a problem with reading comprehension? I said over the last 2-3 seasons they haven't had a rival, over that period. Indiana might as well have not shown up in that game 7, that performance was not one of a rival. I'm talking some batman/joker type shyt, not some fall at the last hurdle ass nikkas.

The closest thing the Heat have had to a rival is the Spurs.
