Many years ago I was in Iverson mall after work to get some snickerdoodles.
Some guy bumped into me and I said excuse me since there was like 5 of them and I knew they was on some bullchit.

The guy immediately turned around and lifted his shirt to show what I think was a Mac-11.

I said, aight, you got it breh.


I left immediately without the cookies.

I didn't know Iverson Mall was still up. I hardly know anybody who even shopped there more than once or twice.

You gotta be a sick nikka to be shopping at iverson mall in 2022. I used to go there as a kid when I lived in southview and it was trash then.

You can get your change back & then some real easy in/or around that mall if you go around goofy. Not too far from the SouthEast borderline where alot of dudes get deleted left & right hottest part of dc homocides weekly….

It’s not the worst mall, but it’s hood…..I’d rather go to Pentagon City & bag bougie trustfund hoes …..y’all can keep that Get Rich Or Die Trying shyt….

The mainstream white media tried to make it out to be a “mass shooting” in an effort to gradually have Black folks (especially Black men) be the face of it since so many of these past mass shootings have been done by Cacs and Cac Hispanics and occasionally East Asians. That shooting at Iverson Mall was just some street nikka shyt, nothing more nothing less. It’s unfortunate that 3 ppl died but anyone who’s been to or are at least familiar with Iverson Mall and the area it’s in know the getdown around that way. There’s even blue lights across the street from the mall by the gas station and the big ol’ crab house on the corner. One of the worst hoods in PG County, even DC nikkas be having to keep their head on a swivel while traveling through.

I’m still amazed to this day that Iverson Mall outlasted both Landover Mall and even The BLVD. Hell it even outlasted Lakeforest Mall over in VA

All malls in Maryland have a history of this type of fukkery. Folks been killed over Foamposites at PG Plaza in the past. Don’t even get started on Mondawmin. I heard it was called murder mall back in the 80’s. People used to get robbed all the time in the parking lot at Arundel Mills like ten years ago. Even Towson mall got bodies. Towson and Owings Mills was so overrun by wild boppers from Baltimore that they had to have a curfew for kids under 16. Even Columbia mall in sweet ass Howard County got bodies from Boondocks nikka moments. None of the malls in Maryland even that nice. The entire state of Maryland don’t got a real upscale mall like Tysons Corner.

I would say Montgomery Mall (it’s big asf) is our main upscale mall followed by probably Annapolis Mall (which of course ain’t no stranger to fukkery either lol). I’m not gonna count the outlet malls since their upscale profile is a given.

I only go to Iverson Mall for 3 reasons:

1.) If I’m driving home from my 2nd job in DC mid-morning and I wanna get some Bojangles otw and I’m not tryna go all the way to Upper Marlboro for some.

2.) To hit up Metro City Herb Shack, which is a Black-owned business down the lower level next to the hair salon/barbershop. They sell herbs, artwork, holistic products, organic body products, and more.

3.) And finally, obviously the snickerdoodles. But Imma be honest too, I was always #TeamForestville when it came to them cookies. Still am too lmao
