my ancestors, lineage did not die, struggle for this bullshyt. Slavery, Jim Crow, Segregation to Equal opportunity back to Segregation. why do we continue to perpetuate the stereotype? Im tired of blacks ( not all, but some) exploiting themselves for a couple dollars.
Dont get me wrong, I can never knock someone from "doing what they have to do" to survive, but everytime I hear something foolish like this, I sit back and wonder, why? Is having self worth, integrity and common decency for yourself and other within your community mean a damn to you. DO you care about your family name? legacy? Is this how your mother, granny raised you? Is progression possible? Are others efforts going on death ears? I kid you not, at first things like this never matter. I use to so consumed with myself until I realize how embarrassing it is to us as a people. I know that isolated incidents are not significant enough to define a race, ethnicity, however this has become a machine. We accept it, support it and encourage such behavior. I dont want my kids to have to go through this. This doesn't represent my people, this doesn't represent me.
Sorry to ramble, but this shyt is not funny. I dont find any of this (excuse me) shyt entertaining. I dont care about some broads talking about nothing relevant, cats running around trying to fukk anything with a arm and a leg or cats with a so many kids and baby moms that they can organize a legitimate football game. This shyt needs to stop now!

Stuff like this always backfires. All trying to boycott the show is going to do is get more people to tune in to see what the controversy is about. The best thing to do would be to ignore it and wait for it to get cancelled. Instead, because of this, the show is going to have a ridiculous amount of buzz when it finally does air and will more than likely draw a great rating for the debut episode.

Most of the bloggers that are complaining about this don't really care. They just want grand stand about something, because they know that's how you get more Youtube views and web site hits. Promoting positivity and saying good things doesn't have the same appeal to people.

How is it irresponsible if he is taking care of his children and giving them love?
I dont agree with deadbeats at all. However if a man can support his children's needs 360 then I agree with spreading your seed with willing women if u so choose.
Our ancestors have done this for ages it wasnt until the cacs ruined everything with bullshyt laws that we adopted. So that now having multiple children with women is frowned upon.

A show about bettering the lives of others will NOT get as many views tho. This has been proven a million times. People love drama, chaos, and stupid shyt on their television, or anywhere else for that matter; this has also been proven a million times.
That's why I'm not completely bothered by this, I just simply won't watch. I doubt there'll be any networks that carry the show here anyway.
This show, in and of itself is not a problem, what it represents is far more frightening.
There will always be OTHER seemingly more pressing problems than the amount of influence media plays on people, doesn't make it any less significant. The laissez faire approach to media responsibility is why it's in the state it's in.

Why are we praising the demeaning behavior of baby momma's living together as a modern form of polygamy with one man? Why do we continue to reward ignorance and irresponsibility of our BLACK men and women in the media?? I truly dont understand the mentality of this and something needs to be done about it. What are we saying to our young men and women who can have access to this show??? That is ok to father 11 children with 10 different women without the commitment of marriage??? Or for our young women, it is ok to let a man impregnate you and depreciate your self-worth and morality as a woman?? This is disgusting on so many levels.
We do not need another reality show that shows our people in a bad light. Our community needs to stop watching this nonsense and boycott these companies that are owned by white folks. They feel that making a modern day minstrel show based on degrading women and blacks will bring the ratings that they need and they can care less about the people they target! We have to control our image and eradicate nonsense that we subject ourselves to and most importantly, our children.
This is not a hate petition against Shawty Lo and his baby mommas. We simply will not support ignorance in any way, shape or form.
