If you ain't familiar with that shyt. Original properties that were sexualized (Hentai and whatever else the fukk) from the get is bad enough, but there's a strong market for nudity/animation of literally EVERY female character you can think of regardless of age. I mean back in the day when the Internet was popping off and you saw that Dragon Ball Z/ Sailor Moon mashup in 2001 you were 
for a minute 'cause you know that wasn't the norm, but as time went on and the Internet expanded and offered more opportunities for artists to showcase shyt, the market for this sort of shyt grew exponentially to the point where damn near any character you can think of had nude drawings, hentai comics and full blown flash animations out on a near disgusting level. The first time I saw that Calvin and Hobbes porn strip I just had to 
'cause I knew it was gonna get worse. This is for dudes who jack of solely to Animated porn, mainly of the rape variety who request and pay for this sort of depressing shyt to get created to the hairy knuckled basement dwelling masses. I mean what do you expect from an entertainment medium and it's audience that has a whole section devoted to creating cartoons where little children (Lolicon/Shota) get fukked? you're right. I assumed it was real at first glance because I wouldn't put it past the japanese animators to sneak that lil 2 second sexualized tween twerk clip into one of their openings
A huge company like Nintendo would not go out of their way to rock the content rating of one of their most lucrative intellectual properties such as Pokemon with something as risque as that, I'd like to think. They gotta keep it Pg-13 the most so that they can stay upfront and centre and not fukk up that Hoover Dam like revenue stream they get for being able to advertise to kids and teenagers on a wholesome tip. I ain't watch the show in a minute or plan to but I highly doubt you'd see any sort of romantic interests or latent sexual shyt like you would in current day reboots like The new Goddamned Powerpuff Girls....

I don't think that episode made the light in America around the time that version of the show was on. I think there was also one or two gun pulling incidents that got censored in their first American runs as well. The Japanese got a strong pervert culture and this was America in the 90's where the telly shows were still trying to act like the characters didn't fukk or got high and end of episode Afterschool specials were rampant, so it wasn't out of the way for them to get away with that shyt on their side since Pokemon stayed buzzing regardless in Japan. The amount of casual Japanese game shows I see with lewd humour in it is right there on public access, so it ain't really no thing for 'em to show it in a comedic light over there from what I hear.
