The law is risky, confining someone in a confined space while they are trying to escape can be kidnapping, and he is somewhat culpable in her murder.

But your acting like she is a innocent bystander. She was attacking him and he was looking for a way to protect himself. Don't get me wrong I still think he is in the wrong for how he acted that night. But far from a murder. The girl was obviously not right in the head. Attack a person you met the night in his own home. Then proceed to think your Spider-Man and try and climb down 14 stories If the girl was sane she would still be alive.
