Rust is amazing. Even when you lose all your shyt its amazing. The social aspect of the game is what makes it addictive, the personal vendettas and beefs, and combine that with the ability to loot peoples bodies if you kill them and you can use c4 to blow into bases and steal loot makes it insanely addictive. Game isn't perfect though but for an alpha, its really good. The graphics aren't bad at all, the foliage, and sun/light graphics are actually pretty on ultra settings. If they can fix the lag/rubber banding/hackers this game is going to be extremely popular for a long time. The potential in this game is massive. So much stuff you can add.

Hope OP realizes game is in Alpha stage, and will continue to be modified and expanded on as time goes on.

Game is fun, but unless you got homies, you're gonna have a tough ass time.


Hopped on some random server a week or two ago and these dudes kept asking me if I wanted free stuff, and where my base was. They eventually found me gathering resources in so random valley and asked where my crib was, so I walked up to a random ass shelter, threw a door on it, and claimed it as my home. nikkas ran in there and saw there was nothing, came back, and dude got mad at me for clearly lying and put the shotty to my dome(I figured he would do it anyways). Luckily I had just made rounds back to my crib and stashed my resources. When I respawned I just got strapped for war. The best part was they killed me by my crib, so once I got strapped up and threw on my kevlar, I brought the fire to them fakkits. They didn't expect it at all.

Found their base later that night too.

Usually when you buy in on Alphas you get the full game when it comes out, not sure what they'll do with this since Rust has sold over a million, they might try to get people to pay again.

There's literally no precedent for this. Minecraft sold millions and it didn't happen. The closest thing was DayZ but that was a free mod that turned into a paid game.

When you buy an "Early Access" game on Steam you get the full game when it's released. You really have to decide though that the money you're spending is worth what you're getting NOW because these games may take a long time to officially release and I would imagine there's even potential for it to be cancelled (not sure of any known cases of this happening).

@ThiefyPoo we had a coli server.. like 12 coli members played on it (but you know xlarrys say PC has no community when the last time yall had 12 people playing the same game yall couldnt even get a group for Titanfall which is your biggest game )
