I did and can’t answer the question. I don’t spend any more than I have to anywhere I go. I just can’t pay hundreds of dollars for something that costs $10-20 to produce. Everything has a markup but hundreds or thousands of percent in markups is just something I’m not willing to accept with my money unless it’s cars or investment properties that I can still make a return on

On top of that, the MAJORITY of people are buying designer to impress other people based on the name; quality is normally not even part of the thought process when buying it

It’s called marketing and “sales”. It’s the same reason people will pay $1000 for an iPhone that costs $200 to make. Same reason people will pay millions for a Bentley that costs a couple hundred thousand to put together. It’s all marketing and trying to impress other people.

Let’s be honest, on most marketable items he has a point. I’m not speaking on watches snd such because I don’t know the first thing about watches but iPhone is a perfect example. Google phone tend to have better specs but iPhones are leading the charge in the states. A lot of this shyt ain’t really quality but more so about marketing.
