Hm that's weird.
I read an article that said Nike wasn't even gonna change jersey designs that much this year.

you know, I can't believe it just now came to my thought process, but...

what the Fukk is a Pacer? :dwillhuh:
It's a car that sets the pace in the first lap of a race. Indianapolis has the Indy 500. So pace car becomes Pacer.

Midwest is all about auto-manufacturing from post-WWII when a lot of African-Americans moved north to work in automobile factories.

Hence, Detroit is 'motor city' and has the Detroit Pistons. Indiana has the Pacers. shyt even the Green Bay Packers are kinda the same idea.
Detroit Redwings are a reference to the 'Winged Wheelers'. Logo's a fukking flying tire.

Anyways.

I figured it was related to the Indy 500 (keep the pace in the race). Just my guess :manny:

A pacer is either a pacesetter OR a racehorse that's bred/trained to have a certain gait and both legs on the same side lifted together when running.

Those jerseys are trash btw :jaecrowder:
