2K always phones it in during the final game before the next gen drops. Next years 2K will be even worse on current gen. They're almost always lazier than usual and tend to cut more corners than they normally do when the gen comes to an end. At best, it's a roster update. You sometimes dont even get a different menu design.

Their face scans have always sucked and the controls are confusing. I heard they moved the reversal from left trigger to one of the face buttons which is good. I copped 2K19 for $10 and was still insulted at how difficult it was to get the hang of.
