Yep he’s really the OG modern black nerd, he walked so guys like Kanye, Pharrell, Donald Glover could run. And people forget he wrote “Red Tails” as well.

It was blocked from television along with the two BET Episodes, and the black hair episode, during its original run.

But they all streamed on the Adult Swim website, I remember getting on my computer at 10pm to watch them.

He really emancipated black folks from mental slavery that was rampant in the 00s :ohlawd:

Looks like Aaron McGruder exposed too much of what was going on 'behind the scenes', which is why we don't hear much about him any more.

The guy who plays Uncle Ruckus auditioned for a Tyler Perry movie and almost made it (not sure which film) but he was rejected at the end.
So he gave Aaron some insight on how it works but im sure it was embellished for the show.....at least I hope so
