Well I don't know how shyt was as far as social shyt goes...but in my experience in that era we ain't have the insight to certain shyt like we did now. That's why a lot of people just chalked some of the darts Pac was throwing up to hate or paranoia... Pac goes at Jay and people act like he picked his name out at random but act like they DP video ain't put a target on him. How would fans know the logicstics of Pac/Fugees beef without being in the industry...

And De La says they weren't dissing him with the parody...but I don't believe them. Pac is seen as some sort of saint now, ain't no benefit to coming out and admitting that you were hating on 2pac Shakur and got clowned in the process :mjlol:

DENY DENY DENY..

Roots did the same shyt with "what they do". Ego trip was a commentary on the rap game and even before the DR stint you couldn't make a commentary on the rap game without referencing 2pac. And you could definitely come to the conclusion that he was "ego trippin".

Breh if they dissed him they'd have no reason to hide their hands....they never took back the disses aimed at BIG. And there were several on "Stakes Is High". And they're from NY....which would be like dissing the Pope in Vatican City.

Some of the Pac shyt was paranoia. The Outlawz admitted Pac wanted to diss Jay on "Hit Em Up" but they talked him out of it because it wasn't for any real reason....it was more a precautionary step because he figured Jay would involve himself in the BIG beef.

I mean he might have had them in mind too but I think people have laid out the case that it was specifically for them, for good reason too.

Well...Fugees were on the radar, but one of the reasons De La got dissed besides them trying to paraody Pac on some sly shyt...they were in the video for "Cowboy" - with the Fugees which was a diss song to Pac.

They were sitting in the theater scenes...

was 2pac still alive by the time that video dropped?

I dunno, and I'm not gonna look so you can prove me wrong. If it turns out he was dead, I'ma just say he was psychic, because it's just more interesting that way.

They got dissed for for the Parody in Ego Trip and for being in the Cowboy video once Wyclef decided to diss Pac on behalf of Jack....or at least that's how I see it...
