The general consensus is the album sucked. Alot of his fans will try to convince you the overwhelming response to the album means that Drake is alpha and omega.... But most of them pretty much know the writing on this album is not up to par with the Drake they've come to love. Its doable even listenable.... But ultimately its a pretty weak album. But Drakes best music always comes between albums...... So more then likely he will drop some new music this fall and everyone will forget how he dropped the ball on this album because once again he thinks his hiphop fans want to hear him sing as oppossed to just body beats. The casual fans will try to convince this album is the best thing since sliced bread.... But they are not avid listeners of real hiphop. I mean between Lanes and and the other dude that Drake singing lane is sewed up. They write better songs and here's the catch they can actually sing. Drake needs to rap and let that tone def you dont bring me flowers shyt go.....

It's just this day and age, nothing stays a topic of conversation long because of the nonstop social media shyt. Though I do agree this album does seem to have much less buzz than his previous albums (after the fact not leading up to it), the bar was set ridiculously high for this, he's not going anywhere anytime soon though. If anything this sets him up even better for his next album, which he should just drop out of nowhere, the marketing and hype for Views was wayyyyy too much in an era where an artist of Drake's stature can drop an album with absolutely no notice at 12 oclock and by 12:15 half the world will know about it. No need for so much promo.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
:francis:
buzz is already leveled.

no smash single, summer anthems, beef diss tracks, club anthems, big pop song etc..same thing happened to Nelly, 50,Ja, Lil Wayne, Eminem etc after a while, shyt get stale and repetitive and people move on to the next thing.. he's already peaked :yeshrug:
Album sucks, but One Dance should be big

Views is going to be Drake's Massacre:flabbynsick:. It will be his best selling album and will have huge hits, but people are not feeling it like his other albums. It's the first Drake album that has actual stans disappointed. If he doesn't step up the quality with his next one, it's all going to be downhill from here on just like 50 Cent's career.
