The Rihanna situation ruined it for him. Before that, he was getting commercials and endorsements. No one will ever come close to MJ but Chris Brown would have been the closest in terms of dancing and stage presence.

There is no generational king of pop title. There is only one king of pop and it's Michael Jackson.

And why do you guys keep comparing that dwarf Bruno to MJ? I'm not seeing it. :mindblown:
Bruno is TALENTED. Nowhere NEAR MJ (whose greatness even the people who tried to slander his name couldnt deny) but these nikkas wanna ship somebody..let it be someone with talent at least.

Name ONE Fist song that impacted even just AMERICA. Cant? Exactly. His attitude sucks too.

nikka you brought up Chris Brown, holla at me when Chris Brown performs at something bigger than the BET awards.

"Mars has received many awards and nominations, including two Grammy Awards and was named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world, in 2011. In 2014, he was named "Artist of the Year" by Billboard and ranked number one on the Forbes 30 under 30 list. Throughout his singing career, he has sold over 11 million albums and 68 million singles, making him one of the world's best-selling artists of all time.[1] However, as a performer, writer and producer his total sales surpass 130 million singles. Five of his singles are counted among the best-selling singles of all time. Mars is now regarded as one of the most successful solo artists in the world, landing 5 number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 since his career launched in 2010, faster than any male singer since Elvis Presley. His total of number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 is six"

:mjlol: Chris Brown.
@2stainz he sonned you with sheer facts.

No current pop star could be as big as Michael Jackson was, pop culture is too fragmented now

In this era where everybodys famous nobody will ever feel as big as Michael felt:mjcry:....Im not even a MJ stan music wise but you cant deny the impact, who could come anywhere close to that today:mindblown:...Jesus himself would have to come back to create that kind of buzz.
